UKPT

Announcing SecureCom's UKPT support

UKPT is a method to grant that each transaction from a terminal is protected by an unique key for encryption and MAC calculation. Correctly implemented in terminal it will not reveal any key that has been used in a previous transaction.

SecureCom's UKPT support consists of:
C source code for terminal (PED implementation)
SCUDX_UKPT for IBM 4758 crypto processor, to be used at host site
UKPTTOOL for generating and verifying test data
consultancy to support user implementations

Our support for UKPT is based on the definitions given by ANSI X9.24

C source code

This is a package of modules to be integrated into a terminal (PED) implementation. The distribution form, as ANSI C source code, is selected to provide platform independence. The programmer's manual may be ordered from us.

The use of the modules is granted via a license agreement.

The user manual may be downloaded. The 4758 with the SCUDX_UKPT is intended for use at the host site. SecureCom also may supply a general security server for UKPT based on the Windows 2000 platform.

The use of the SCUDX_UKPT is granted via a license agreement.
